Arch Coal, founded in 1969, has it's headquarters in Creve Coeur Missouri. It is a coal mining and processing company and is the second largest supplier of coal in the US. It operates 21 mines in the states of Kentucky, Virginia, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and West Virginia which mainly supply coal to electric producing facilities and steel manufacturers.
